Earlier this week, U.S. District Court Judge Laura Taylor Swain granted Seeqpod’s motion to dismiss EMI's case against them, citing a lack of personal jurisdiction in the U.S. District Court of the Southern District of New York.image from www.women2.org The ruling and an out of court settlement with a co-defendant effectively ends a two year old lawsuit that put the music search and play engine under and scared away many of its competitors.
