The Next Iteration of Interactive Music Videos

image from christinamorelli.files.wordpress.com Andy Grammer has an interactive music video out. Users engage with the content and make decisions in real-time. Once selected, the course of the story switches. The scene changes are seamless. Even I watched it twice to see the different ways that it ended. While the music itself is less than compelling, the format gives a peak into the future of video.

Take a look at the music video below:

Personally, I would rather select which zany jam session occurs in a video song by Pompelmoose, but alas, it will be quite some time before indie artists get a hold of this technology. However, I could imagine a music video by Eminem using this format to be more viral. Rather than choosing your own adventure, it would be a blatant mix of which highly offensive prank happens next and to which celebrity.
